In the summer of 2004, Sheriff Blake Dorning, Madison County Alabama, Alabama State Fire Marshall Richard Montgomery and myself met with my good friend, Chaplain Tim Eldred. We discussed the future of the CLEM (Christian Law Enforcement Mission) and the direction we needed to go. We were led by GOD to serve Sheriffs, Deputies, Chiefs of Police and all Law Enforcement Officers. Our mission was to establish a way to reach and share the word of God with as many as possible.
We held conferences at LifeWay Ridgecrest Conference Center near Asheville, NC, and at LifeWay Glorieta Conference Center near Sante Fe, NM. Over the next few years, we touched the lives of Law Enforcement Officers in the time of need. I have known, and worked with, Brother Tim since 2003. Bro. Tim has always had a passion to assist any law enforcement officer or their family, in time of need. Bro. Tim continues to do that today as the need arises. His mission is to serve the Sheriffs in their respective agencies, as they and their deputies go through troubling times. Bro. Tim is a tremendous resource to any Sheriff or deputy and any other Law Enforcement Officer in time of need.
